Are you looking for eyelash extensions but are confused with all the choices available? If so, this article is for you. There are three types of eyelash extension choices: classic, hybrid, and volume eyelash extensions. You would need to identify the one which suits your needs and convenience.
If you are new in the eyelash extension world, things might get a little confusing as there are different terms used for different techniques. They all have the same process: sticking the fake lashes between your natural lashes, so they do not get stuck to one another.
The Difference
There is only one difference between the three types of lashes: their appearance. People choose the lashes depending on how they look on them.
Classic Eyelashes
The classic lashes are simple and elegant, and it has a very natural style. They are at a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension will be attached to one natural lash. Thus, it gives a very natural appearance.
Classic lashes are available in different materials, styles, and thicknesses. The application process takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, and it gives a very soft and natural appearance to your eyes. They add more length than volume to your eyelashes. They are designed to mimic your natural eyelashes, and the fullness it gives to your appearance would depend on the number of natural lashes you have. So, if you do not have a lot of natural lashes, these extensions will not be able to give you that fuller appearance. It acts as an enhancer of your natural eyelashes.
Volume Eyelashes
It adds volume to your eyelashes but does not look very natural. It makes your natural lash look fuller or thicker. You can add between 2-6 fake lashes per natural lash. These are super lightweight and crafted into a fan before being applied. The technique increases the count of your eyelashes, making them look fuller and thicker. It has a very dramatic appearance. You can either get Russian Volume or Mega Volume, which are both volume lash extension choices.
Hybrid Lashes
Choosing hybrid lashes gives you the best of both classic and volume lashes. It means your eyelashes would now have a longer length, and they would appear thick too. They come in a variety of textures but would give you that slightly unnatural appearance. So, it is ideal for clients who want to add volume to their eyelashes but do not wish to make them look dramatic.
Classic eyelashes are the most affordable ones and require less preparation. Getting volume lashes would require a higher skill level and time investment. Hybrid lashes would give you the best of both worlds. Thus, there is no best choice- it would depend on your preference and the look you want to achieve.
